Few animals in Australia are more iconic than the Koala, one of Australia’s most beloved animals here at home and abroad. Despite their fame, they are in great peril after the megafires of 2019-20. Notorious eucalyptus eaters, these animals spend most of their time eating and sleeping, with an average of just fifteen minutes a day socializing. They move slowly, prone to harm in bushfires, drought and deforestation. With lives truly lived in the trees we must continue to advocate for their habitats to keep them safe. Crafted with care, our hand-painted ornament celebrates these beautiful creatures.
